What kind of vibe do you want at your party?

Everybody wants to have fun at a party and as hosts you want your guests leaving with a memorable experience of your event. The type of vibe, mood and energy that you set at your party or wedding reception is what guests remember and sets you apart.

When we consult with each of our clients, we always ask the question, “What type of party do you want on a scale of 1 to 10? Where 1 is a chill party with music just in the background to 10 where it is a totally Music festival vibe and energy.”  We are trying to determine the kind of vibe and mood they want to set at their event!

Your vision allows us as entertainers to best prepare for and perform to meet those expectations. The party planners are also able to ensure that everything from the decorations, invitations, entertainment, food, etc help achieve your desired outcome.

Fun means different things to everyone, so we have come up with a scale to help us communicate expectations amongst us and our clients. This is not a science nor is it exact but it sets some reference points for us.

Once you know what kind of vibe you’d like to have given your guest list, then that makes it easy to plan and find related DJ and Entertainers.

With all of your planning, you should also have back up plans in case things don’t work out. For example, rain on the day of your event can negatively dampen the mood of the people so try to have décor and colours that improve the mood regardless of the weather. Have heaters available if outdoors. Likewise, for outdoor events, have fans and plenty of water available.
